Riva 56' Rivale (2018)
Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, FR
56' Rivale New - OREGA.
Riva always challenges the notion of what is "state of the art" in yachting. The 56' Rivale is the newest star to shine in the galaxy of legendary Rivas. Perfect for those who love spending their holiday on the sea and those who enjoy unforgettable day cruises, the 56 Rivale is unrivalled, gliding triumphantly through the shipyard's 175-year-old history. Full of charm, power and technology, it immediately conveys elegance and sport. The sleek, glazed windows run seamlessly across the hull with flush portholes, enabling those on board to feel truly part of the sea, and the bold metallic of the exterior is joined with sleek steel elements and teak detailing A further touch of style that distinguishes the Rivale: the unique windshield protecting the helm, a true blend of engineering and design resulting in a stunning aerodynamic profile. Officina Italiana Design joined forces with Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, to create the completely new hull of the Riva's 56' Rivale. The utmost attention to detail is classically Riva, using the finest materials, distinctive hallmarks of the brand throughout its history: from the high gloss mahogany of the interiors to the natural teak of the exteriors, from lacquered finishes to stainless steel details, and from mirrored and glazed surfaces to superior leathers, the legacy of all the stars that make up the universe of Riva is reflected in the new Rivale.

Description per area
"With its unique combination of art and design, of engineering and aesthetics, synonymous with the Italian shipyard Riva, the 56 Rivale provides a boating experience like no other" quotes Alan Harper (MBY Magazine - May, 2018)
The owners suite occupies the boats full beam, with the big, bright and comfortable heads compartment incorporated into the port side. Headroom is excellent throughout the master cabin at 6ft 5in (1.95m), with an additional inch everywhere else on the lower deck. The master berth at a comfortable 6ft 3in (1.90m), combined with the large hull windows, does an excellent job of selling the idea of size and space.
Up forward, the VIP cabin boasts a well-planned space with a good heads compartment on the starboard side.
Both cabins provided reasonable storage space, albeit the VIP, with its eye-level lockers in addition to a larger wardrobe and an under-berth drawer, get the better of it.
The lower saloon is a place of tranquillity. The L-shaped sofa sits beneath a large window and strategically positioned mirror, which doubles the saloons size. Over on the port side is your day heads.
Presented on the port side, the galley is a work of art, with the fridge/freezer and drinks/glasses compartment hidden within the saloon mirror, plus a necessity on your 56' cruiser, the obligatory wine/champagne chiller.
Over to the port side, accessible from the main deck, is the self contained crew cabin, including a single berth, shower, heads and sink.
